Special Opportunities for Achievement & Reawakening (S.O.A.R.); the purpose of the program is to encourage community participation by stressing the importance of providing a safe alcohol, tobacco, drug and violence free environment. S.O.A.R. emphasizes the importance of educational achievement, recreational activities and supportive services for the youth and their families.
The key components of S.O.A.R. are activity based; which assist the entire community while increasing awareness.
