New Jersey American Water Company (Elizabethtown Water Company) is performing scheduled maintenance in our Raritan-Millstone and Canal Road Treatment Plants, therefore temporarily changing our treatment process from CHLORAMINE to CHLORINE until April 1, 2008. During this time customers from Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset and Union Counties may notice a chlorine or medicinal taste and odor to the water due to change in the disinfection process.
